Anatomy of a Feature Film: JUNO

A Conversation with the Creative and Business Minds Behind a Hit Independent Film

Arizona State University's School of Theatre and Film and UCLA Anderson School of Management are proud to share this one-of-a-kind opportunity to learn about a beloved independent film from the creative and business minds behind it.

ASU's Anatomy of a Feature Film program has invited others from around the country to participate in this Interactive Open Learning Experience.  Other participants include students from:

·  UCLA Anderson

·  Duke University

·  University of Montana

·  Quinnipiac University

·  San Francisco Film Society

This unique inter-collegiate video conference is made possible by the generous support of Cisco.  ASU film professor Adam Collis and film producer Judd Payne (Bernie, 2011) will guide the video conference conversation between the esteemed Hollywood professionals and our student participants.

Members of the local ASU community may come to observe the event.  For more information on attending, please contact laurie.valenti@asu.edu.

UCLA students have the opportunity to attend the event in Korn Hall at UCLA Anderson with some of the Junofilmmakers LIVE and IN PERSON.  For more on this, please contact laura.brodsky.2013@anderson.ucla.edu.

And whether you are at ASU, UCLA or participating via video conference, you may submit questions for our guests!  If your question is picked, you will be able to ask your question directly to one of the Juno film professionals.  Details on how to submit questions are forthcoming.

The event will include everyone from the director of Juno, to the financier, to the person who designed the movie poster, to the studio executive.  We hope ASU's Anatomy of a Feature Film will give you a 360 degree look at the making, marketing and distribution of a true indie hit!
